It is a set of rules, instructions, tips for ourselves and suppliers on how to minimize the environmental impact of production. It is also a set of requirements for our partners that must be met (including a lack of child labor) during cooperation between companies. We conduct trainings for our suppliers to better understand the processes that occur during chocolate production. This allows us to get better quality raw materials. Packaging is another aspect, we minimize the consumption, ensuring that they come from recycling. Our suppliers support us in these activities, always offering products that can be recycled. Energy used for production is next issue. The energy used in the factory comes partly from renewable energy sources. We use solar energy to power the factory, and we use heat given off by refrigeration equipment. It is not enough for us – we install more solar panels so that in the future energy from conventional sources will not be necessary.
